CCB
Child Care Benefit -CCB - is a payment made by the Commonwealth Government to assist families with the cost of child care. Eligibility for this payment is determined by Centrelink’s Family Assistance Office.
After Centrelink has received and processed your application, MCCCC will then be notified of the percentage of fees which must be paid by the parent.Parents can opt to claim their CCB on their daily fees, or make a bulk claim at the end of the financial year. Further information and application forms for CCB are available from your Team Leader.
Please note:
Although the forms are available from MCCCC at the time of enrolment, the application and renewals for CCB are the SOLE responsibility of the family.
If CCB is not sought or you are ineligible to receive relief, full child care fees will apply. Please ask your Team Leader for a "Notification of Full Fee paying Customers Form".
Families who choose to pay full fees must contact the Office to make arrangements for a customer reference number. This number is required so that MCCCC can provide Centrelink with a statement of usage in order for families to claim a rebate with their tax return.
