Moreland Community Child Care Co-operative welcomes the varied skills and talents that parents have and encourages parents to contribute in a manner that utilises these skills.Parents are also encouraged to participate in fundraising, working bees and social activities that are organized throughout the year. Parents have a key role in:

  • Ensuring that the co-operative provides a happy, safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Policy development
  • Ensuring that policies are implemented
  • Providing support and direction to staff
  • Maintaining a high quality standard of care

Parents are asked to maintain communication with their child’s carers/teachers on a daily basis.Staff are best able to care for your child when they are informed about what your expectations are.Staff are always willing to discuss your child with you and this can be done informally or a formal appointment can be made if the need arises.
